An online marketing tip: Don’t listen to marketing coaches and gurus who tell you, “There’s just ONE way to do things.”
Naturally I detest the expression “more than one way to skin a cat.”
But I believe there’s more than one way to carry out successful marketing.
My mastermind group challenged me: “Make a video on something you learned last week.” And that’s just what I learned. See the video I made below:
A lot of people are coming up with themes or words for the year instead of resolutions. I can’t come up with anything spectacular, so I plan to continue my focus on “get it done” in my business and my offers.
I’m encouraging clients to invest in products and services that don’t just give you training and ideas, but give you real tools and support for moving to your goals – things like websites, videos, content, sales letters, webinars, live talks.
All my products and services are geared to this theme. I’m committed to giving you a meaningful takeaway accomplishment (not just an idea or two) on every call, even the free ones.
I also believe that everyone who works online needs certain basic knowledge in order to take charge of your marketing and avoid getting scammed or schemed. Recently I was horrified to discover that some web designers charge hundreds (thousands?) of dollars for “website customization,” but just fill in the widgets for you. Design? Changing layouts?
