Create your online marketing toolkit with these products and programs.
Each listing was chosen to give you exceptionally high value. If you need help implementing them after you make the purchase, I’m here to help.
This list is dynamic. I add new products and services as I learn about them and remove those that seem dated. Please let me know your experience as you use these resources. If I get complaints, I’ll remove the listing.
I do NOT recommend anyone who will hassle you about a refund or who has a no-refund policy for ebooks and other information products. With a course, software tool or workshop, you usually have a window of opportunity (e.g., after the first session) to request a refund. So as soon as you buy, begin testing the tool or system to see if it works for you.
Full disclosure: I do get a commission when you click through most of these links to make a purchase. You can bypass my links and go directly to these sites. Your cost will be the same either way.You do not pay extra when you buy through me. When you buy a big-ticket item through me, I usually offer an extra bonus after the commission comes through.
Setting Up Your Business
Design your business – This comprehensive course walks you through 3 models of business that may work for you. You’ll get walk-throughs to generate passive income from affiliate marketing, blogging and kindle books.
Simple Podcasting – For podcasting I recommend this guide by Connie Ragen Green. A lot of people make it seem difficult, so you may feel intimidated before you start. Connie keeps things simple and gives you realistic “not for gurus only” tips.
Earn 5 Bucks A Day by Dennis Becker. A realistic step-by-step guide to getting your business started.
Write Your Ebook in 7 Days by Jim Edwards — The only ebook you’ll need to create and sell info products. He’s one of my favorite people. If it was a paperback it would be worn and dog-eared by now!
Your Brand: Embrace Your Unique Story To Create A One-Of-A Kind Business. A very thorough, strategic approach to branding yourself with stories by Nicole Dean and Melissa Ingold.
Good Tools To Make Your Business Work
Web Hosting: For less than $10 a month you get unlimited domain hosting, outstanding support and easy WordPress installations. Another good choice is Hostgator, which I’ve been using for almost ten years, worry-free. I’ve heard people complain about service but they’ve been excellent for me.
Back up your blog with this easy WordPress plug-in. You can protect your blog and also make it easy to clone your blog as you create multiple sites.
A Weber Autoresponder services– AWeber is the most popular email marketing service, for good reason. Top Internet marketers swear by AWeber because you get awesome delivery rates combined with beautiful forms and templates. They’re very fussy about moving your list, so if you’re a veteran, you might want to check other services.
If teleseminars are an important part of your marketing, I recommend the Instant Teleseminar system. You can use it for conference calls. With slides it works like a hassle-free webinar. The monthly fee is relatively small but saves hours of time for yourself, your Virtual Assistant, and your web designer. Learn more here.
For high-converting membership sites, I use Wishlist Member. They’re one of the most comprehensive available.
I also recommend Insta-Member, which is a newer plug-in that is easier and cheaper.
