Nice review! I’m interested in the “we will out-work you” aspect. I agree with that but sometimes people (including me) work hard towards dead ends. I think being very strategic and then working really hard on the right things can lead to massive results. Thanks for sharing this.

What a great review. The only thing I would say is while yes I agree that taking massive isn’t the complete answer — you need to take the RIGHT action — in my experience I’ve found that most people who are taking the wrong action know exactly what they should be doing and they’re still not doing it for whatever reason. They clean their desks and file and check email or whatever — they do exactly as Lynn says which is dash around wildly and not get anything productive done (although they can certainly tell themselves and the world how busy they are). I’m probably more cynical than you are but I truly think, deep down, they know what they should do and are choosing not to. If they really don’t know how or what to do, the motivated people get help — hire someone or buy a product — they don’t screw around wasting time.

I would have been amused by that, as well. 🙂

Although my inclination is to turn a blind eye and refuse to acknowledge ignorance or harsh criticism (let’s say from naysayers or those who set out to squash our goals and dreams) … it’s a tough assignment.

But constructive criticism?!

It shouldn’t be ignored, it should be embraced … head on!
